PR is back.
About a month ago, a girl walked up to my bar to close her tab. She looked so familiar to me, like I knew her. I asked her why she looked so familiar, and she was instantly disappointed. Literally, she shrunk a few inches and said sadly, “I was on a reality show a few years ago.” I screamed, “YEEES! THAT’S IT! Girl your blue dress was awesome, so memorable. You were great on that show. Way to go.” She smiled so big, and grew taller than she was when she walked in.
Her name is Nora Caliguri. She was 21 when she competed on the 1st season of Project Runway back in 2004/2005. She may not have made it all the way, but her designs were definitely memorable to Project Runway fans like me.
Here is the dress she made for the very first challenge. The designers were set loose in a grocery store and told to buy something they could make an outfit out of. She grabbed a blue lawn chair (so innovative).
The 6th season of Project Runway airs tonight (on Lifetime).
