MCQUEEN FOREVER
I was in draping class this morning when I heard the news. Lee Alexander McQueen died last night.
No other designer has inspired me more than he. His visions are so powerful. Often bizarre, somber, and even scary, his collections transported me to a beautiful world he created.
When asked who my favorite designer is, I would always say him. I still will.
The joy I received from his work will never be forgotten, and will continue to shape my own design esthetic.
